Outdoor Activities to Put On Your 2023 Bucket

Living in the Northwest, we’re fortunate to have so many ways to enjoy the outdoors, and there’s plenty of it to explore! So, we’ve created a list of 5 activities we recommend adding to your bucket list to get outside, get some fresh air, and appreciate Oregon’s beauty this year. Report back to us which adventure you take on!

Hike the Corvallis-to-the-Sea Trail: For the adventurers, travel 62 mi. from downtown Corvallis to Ona Beach on a winding trail cutting through urban areas, farmland, hillsides, and more!

Soak at Terwilliger Hot Springs: In central Oregon, just half an hour from Eugene, are four whimsical pools ranging in temperature from 85°F-112°F. Ideal for a quick weekend escape!

Explore the Painted Hills: A picturesque site where visiting truly lives up to the photos. Marvel at these unique hills consisting of red, yellow, orange, purple, green, and black!

Raft on the Rogue: If you’re seeking a good Oregon thrill, whitewater raft down one of the original eight rivers named in the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968.

Trek into the Alvord Desert: Deep in the Steens Mt. lies the Alvord Desert, a bleached desert made of alkali minerals resembling caked salt flats. Bask in this cold, dreamy oasis.

Enjoy your adventures!
