Around Town

Until December 30th: The Grotto’s Festival of Lights A massive holiday display featuring indoor concerts, living history, family entertainment, Christmas-themed puppet shows, life-size nativity scene, and more. It is a walk through event, so be prepared to walk a quarter mile through the decor. It’s open from 4:30 – 9:30 PM.

Until December 31st: Lightopia: Hillsboro’s Free Drive-Through Light Display It is open Sun. through Thurs. from 5:00-9:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 5:00-10:00 PM On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, it is open from 5:00-8:00 PM and is closed on Christmas Day. December 19th from 7:00-9:00 PM will be a pedestrian-only night. Reservations are required.

Until December 31st: Winter Wonderland: Drive-Through Light Show – Proceeds benefit the Sunshine Division. You’ll enjoy the show from the comfort of your car, viewing colorful light sets and many animated scenes. Hours are Monday – Thursday 5:00 – 10:00 PM, Friday – Sunday 4:30 – 11:00 PM, and special hours December 16th – 25th 4:30 – 11:00 PM.
