In our last post we examined the 2016 RMLS data for the Portland/Metro area and found great news for homeowners. In this post we’ll share some impressive combined 2016 statistics for the agents in the RE/MAX equity group. This collection of Portland and SW Washington agents works together to deliver superior results for their clients. And these year-end numbers really back that up.
Consisting of more that 600 agents, the RE/Max equity group closed 7,726 transactions in 2016, at an average of nearly 15 closings per agent. Together these transactions added up to $2,861,778,235 in sales volume, which put our market share ahead of many of the area’s other well-known real estate brands. In contrast, the 7,300 total agents in the market closed 31,821 transactions at a rate of 4.4 closings per agent. That means the average equity group agent closed three times as many transactions as the average agent in the market.
